Cub Scout Pack 609
Each den meets 2-3 times a month and attends one monthly pack meeting. Den schedules are available on each den’s page.
Pack 609 is run by VOLUNTEERS and we always need help with planning and running meetings and events. The Pack committee is open to all interested individuals- NO PREVIOUS or SUPER-SPECIAL SCOUT KNOWLEDGE NEEDED- Just a little energy, enthusiasm and willingness to lend a hand a couple of hours a month! Together we can help make scouting a great experience for our boys.
As our pack uses St. Joseph’s church facilities for den meetings and pack functions, the Church conducts background checks for all individuals who will be involved in scouting functions on a yearly basis.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas
We provide local spirituality, sharing and activity under the support of a vibrant national organization. Members donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.” They embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Parishes welcome new members into the Catholic Church through a process of education, faith sharing, and rituals known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This process includes several stages marked by prayer, study, and discussion. Included in the process are several Rites, which take place within the context of the Mass.
